How to put across your potential in an effective way; the strategies to valorise your experiences in your CV, on social networks, in cover letters and self-presentations.

Step 1 - Seminar: CV and cover letter

Start the programme by attending the seminar on how to write your CV.
Free admission subject to registration.

    • Requirements: open to all last-year students and graduates
    • Soft skills involved: writing a CV that presents you in the best possible way and an effective cover letter
    • Duration: 2 hours
    • Participants: maximum 50
    • LANGUAGE: THIS ACTIVITY IS NORMALLY HELD IN ITALIAN (B1 LEVEL, OR EQUIVALENT, IS REQUIRED) BUT IT IS ALSO PROVIDED IN ENGLISH EVERY TWO MONTHS. PLEASE CHECK ON OUR AGENDA THE DATES OF THE NEXT SEMINAR SELECTING "FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ONLY".

Step 2 - Workshop: CV check point and self-presentation

This workshop, involving a small number of attendees, allows you to put into practice what your learned in Step 1 with reference to your CV. Therefore, bring a copy of your CV with you.

    • Requirements: must have attended the seminar (Step 1)
    • Soft skills involved: learning to review your CV, practising brief self-presentations
    • Duration: 2 hours
    • Participants: maximum 10

Step 3 - Feedback on your CV

You can get individual feedback on the CV you completed after the workshop in Step 2.

Finding the right job for you

How to set professional objectives and plan your job hunting strategy; finding information on the job market, assessing opportunities, networking and personal branding.

Step 1 - Seminar: job hunting strategies

Start the programme by attending the seminar to implement an active and autonomous search method, consolidate and expand your network of contacts, promote yourself online and offline.

    • Soft skills involved: learning about job hunting channels, expanding research strategies, valorising your network of contacts
    • Duration: 2 hours
    • Participants: maximum 50

Step 2 - Workshop: Define your professional objectives

This workshop, involving a small group of attendees, helps you to define and implement your professional objectives, focusing on competences, interests, passions, values and personal links. The objective of this workshop is to bring up ideas that can help achieve the objectives and make the most of the competences acquired at the seminar (Step 1). The workshop, comprising two or three 2/3-hour sessions, follows a one-to-one with a career advisor.

    • Soft skills involved: assuming a proactive attitude and style; being aware and confident about your knowledge, abilities and personal characteristics; building professional objectives; projecting yourself into the future and decision making
    • Duration: 6/8 hours
    • Participants: maximum 10

You can do an individual simulation or a job interview to practice what you learned in the seminar and workshop in Steps 1 and 2. You will receive feedback on your verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
