We have an important update!

In order to accommodate the many requests from international students, we have changed the event venue. The event will be held at the Tecnopolo Manifattura, the hub of innovation and research in Bologna. It is the symbol of the Emilia-Romagna Data Valley, home to some of the most powerful High Performance Computers (HPC) in the world.

“Starting a life journey in Bologna: opportunities and procedures to start your career in the metropolitan area" is organized by Bologna for Talent, a service of the Metropolitan City and Municipality of Bologna, in collaboration with Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna and the Almae Matris Alumni Association. 

The purpose of the event is to provide international students with insights into Bologna’s vibrant labor market and life and get expert guidance on immigration processes from the Questura di Bologna

Highlights include Alumni stories. International University of Bologna alumni now working in leading local companies will share their stories and answer questions about their career journeys.

Finally, as part of the "Obliqua: Sguardi Laterali sull’Innovazione" series, there will be a workshop to discuss which professions will emerge in the metropolitan area of Bologna as a result of the climate crisis. with other international students will emerging professions in Bologna tied to the climate crisis. And a final networking aperitivo will follow.

By public transport: From Bologna Central Station, take bus line 25 and get off at the Casoni stop. Walk along Via Casoni until the intersection with Via Stalingrado, then turn left onto Via Stalingrado. At the entrance, you will find roll-up banners for Università di Bologna, Bologna for Talent, and Bologna Innovation Square.

By car: There is free parking at the Tecnopolo Manifattura with 90 spaces.
